New Website Creation
CHALLENGE
A former schoolmate wanted to create a digital hub to connect local creative, corporate, and community leaders through events, products, and business services. This was also my first time creating an eCommerce site via WordPress, so a lot of research and implementation had to be set up.
SOLUTION
Thankfully, the author of the theme created YouTube videos for tips and tricks when using the editor they provided. That mixed with the help forums for WordPress helped me set up a secure payment through PayPal.
LESSON(S) LEARNED
Developing an eCommerce site was a little more difficult than I imagined. Implementing WooCommerce gave me more insight into the supply chain management of physical and digital products, as well as the many variables that have to be accounted for.
