Wow.
AfroTech 2019 was so invigorating that I had to take a week to truly digest this homecoming-like experience. Imagine 10K+ beautiful black men and women coming together to share knowledge, stories, and genuine fellowship.
I learned how to strategically plan for user experience, tips for starting/funding my own tech company from multiple entrepreneurs, witnessed an entrepreneur receive funding for her startup, and so much more.
I was fortunate to receive a sponsored ticket from AfroTech the week after I concluded that I wouldn’t be able to go to any conferences in 2019…
BUT GOD!
With three weeks to get my funds, transportation, and lodging secured, I didn’t stress. Honestly, I couldn’t. God legit handed me this opportunity to go to my first conference, visit Cali for the first time, and sit in on an MBA class at Stanford GSB.
