Java Web Development Bootcamp Completed
I quit my job as an IT Consultant in October 2017 and participated in the Java Web Development Bootcamp at Montgomery College a few months after. I endured this grueling “9-5, Mon- Friday, 1.5 hr commute there and another back” schedule for 2 months. Every week, I had to design and develop a fully, deployable web app and submit it for grading. I even had to miss a week of class for my family trip to Jamaica then started a part-time job and was convinced I was going to fall behind and flunk out…BUT by the grace of God, I didn’t. The discipline I had to develop for this voluntary program truly opened my eyes to the fact we can not grow in comfort.
To truly understand the depths of our purpose, we must step out on faith and allow God to stretch us. Remember that your passion is an avenue God needs for His mission and it must be nurtured. If it was easy, everybody would be doing it, right?
