Redesign of Website

CHALLENGE

My friend had recently launched his non-profit and I offered to help him serve our D.C. community by redesigning his site as my newest pro-bono project! Biggest hurdle? Having to work with Wix website builder again. This meant designing the web and mobile interfaces separately.

SOLUTION

Since I had experience using Wix before when designing Words Liive, I knew what to plan for and how to use the website builder more efficiently.

LESSON(S) LEARNED

Though tedious at first, I enjoyed designing for both web and mobile. Through this process, I realized that most views will be from mobile devices. For the next site, I’ll experiment with designing for mobile-first.
